MASKING WITH PLANTS
The Kupala Herbarium is a magical collection of herbs gathered on Kupala Night, which for centuries have been credited with exceptional protective, healing, and symbolic powers. Inspired by ancient Slavic traditions, we invite you to a unique ceramic painting workshop, where we will create natural compositions from plants, flowers, and herbs! Take a walk in the park or meadow and collect any plants that catch your eye; they can serve as your templates for painting the mold!
Painted forms will be left in the studio to be fired in the kilns. They will be ready for pickup in approximately 10 days.

CLAY MOLDING WORKSHOP
We invite you to a two-part ceramic workshop, perfect for those who have already worked with clay or want to create a simple project in a relaxed, creative atmosphere.
👩🎨 June 18th (Thursday), 5:00–8:00 PM – during the first session, we will create simple ceramic forms such as bowls, mugs, plates, or other functional and decorative items. Under the guidance of an instructor, you will learn selected handbuilding and shaping techniques – we’ll show you tried-and-true methods that allow you to achieve great results even if it’s your first time working with clay.
NOTE: This session will be held at our second location MALUMIKA IN PIECOWNIA: Władysława Łokietka 9, 50-243 Wrocław
👩🎨 The second session (painting/glazing workshop) will take place after your pieces have been fired, approximately 2–3 weeks later – the exact date will be arranged individually. You will then decorate your forms with colorful glazes. Your work will then be fired again in the kiln.
NOTE: The PAINTING/GLAZING WORKSHOP session will be held on an agreed date at our MALUMIKA studio at ul. Jagiełły 3/5, Wrocław
📌 Who is it for? Adults and teenagers aged 12+ – no prior experience required.
If you’re looking for a more intensive course with in-depth knowledge of various clay-building techniques, we also invite you to our 2-day ceramic course – perfect for those who want to create more complex pieces or further develop their skills.

Join us for our new, two-part workshop on how to make decorative boxes! Under the guidance of an instructor, you'll create your own unique creation that will not only serve as a container but also decorate the interior of your home!
👩🎨 June 19th (Friday), 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – During your first meeting, you'll create your own lantern design, the shape of which depends solely on your imagination! After deciding on the design, you'll move on to sculpting. Under the guidance of an instructor, you'll learn selected sculpting and modeling techniques – we'll demonstrate proven methods that allow you to achieve interesting effects, even with your first experience with clay.This session will be held at our second location: Władysława Łokietka 9, 50-243 Wrocław.

For centuries, Slavic symbols have been associated with nature, protection, the sun, love, and the power of the elements. During this unique workshop inspired by Kupala Night, we will transfer this ancient symbolism to ceramics, painting mugs, bowls, plates, and vases decorated with motifs of the sun, wreaths, waves, plants, the moon, and traditional Slavic ornaments. IN THE CIRCLE OF FIRE AND WINE - ceramic painting workshop with wine
We invite you to a unique ceramic painting workshop inspired by Slavic beliefs, legends, and ancient rituals associated with the solstice. In a mystical atmosphere, over a glass of wine, we will create our own ceramic vessels decorated with motifs of ferns, wreaths, and water ripples. The workshop fee includes white or red wine and savory snacks, the perfect accompaniment to this artistic evening.
Your ceramic piece will be fired and ready for pickup about 10 days later.

MIDSUMMER NIGHT - WREATH-INSPIRED STEP BY STEP WORKSHOP
We invite you to a wreath-inspired ceramics workshop full of summer atmosphere! Delicate floral arrangements, interwoven twigs, herbs, and botanical ornaments will be the main theme of our meeting. Step by step, under the guidance of a local artist, you will walk through the entire painting process – from the first sketch to the final details. You will learn how to create a harmonious wreath composition and subtle shading that will give your work a lightness and depth. The design can be applied to your chosen form: a mug, plate, or bowl – the choice is yours. This is the perfect opportunity to create your own hand-painted ceramics inspired by nature and summer traditions, and spend creative time surrounded by plant inspiration.

KINTSUGI - JAPANESE ART OF MENDING CERAMICS WITH GOLD
Discover the noble art of Kintsugi – the Japanese technique of repairing broken porcelain using lacquer and gold.
Kintsugi is deeply rooted in the philosophy of wabi-sabi, which encourages us to find beauty in things that are humble, authentic, imperfect, and ephemeral.
During the workshop, you’ll learn about the spirit and tradition of Kintsugi, an art form that originated in 15th-century Japan and is still practiced today by Japanese artisans. Step by step, I will guide you through the process of joining broken porcelain pieces using Japanese lacquer and golden powder.
While traditional Kintsugi can take over a month to complete, during this workshop you’ll learn how to create your own repair in just a few hours. All necessary materials, including porcelain to repair, will be provided.
Leave the workshop with your own unique Kintsugi creation.
The workshop will be led by Ewelina Skowrońska, a visual artist who spent the last 10 years living in Japan.

PIXEL WORLD
The world of pixels has long been associated with games and the endless possibilities of building your own stories—block by block, color by color. How about transferring this digital atmosphere to ceramics and creating your own pixelated patterns? We invite you to a workshop where we'll show you ceramic painting techniques that will make even the most geometric and "angular" motifs easy to create. We'll create mugs, bowls, or plates decorated with pixelated characters, hearts, icons, or your own designs—just like in your favorite game, only in ceramic!

Stars and zodiac signs have been a signpost for us for years, and at the same time a mystery. Regardless of whether someone believes in star reading or not, they still have a sign assigned to their date of birth. How about painting your zodiac sign on ceramics?
